About the role#
This internship supports the touring department at CMN. You will assist the team with administrative tasks, reporting, and project coordination for current and upcoming tours. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Chicago.
What you'll do#
- Review artwork and media spots to ensure accuracy.
- Manage the departmental calendar.
- Distribute media artwork assets for various campaigns.
- Create tour routings and organize BlueBooks.
- Generate sales reports for announced tours and monitor daily ticket sale reports.
- Forecast and request new graphics for artist campaigns.
- Request availability from venues.
- Provide general support to the touring team as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for communications, media, advertisement, or a related field.
- Fluency in both verbal and written Spanish is required.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A basic understanding of budgeting and advertisement skills.
- Ongoing knowledge of the music industry and current music trends.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
