About the role#
This Internal Audit Co-Op position joins the team responsible for company-wide coverage of financial, operational, and internal control processes. You will execute risk-based audits, test SOX-404 controls, and work on special investigations. This role provides hands-on experience through meaningful projects and mentorship from experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Support the SOX-404 process, including scoping, planning, walkthroughs, testing, and status reporting.
- Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and processes through detailed testing.
- Compile audit findings and recommend revisions to systems and procedures.
- Assist in confidential audits and fraud investigations.
- Participate in cross-functional efforts to improve company operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Accounting, Data Science, or Business Administration.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of GAAP, COSO, and SOX.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
