About the role#
This Co-Op provides students with experience in a civil or structural engineering environment. You will work in small groups alongside Senior Engineers to support the company. Depending on your assignment, you will focus on either core structural engineering or civil site development. You will receive training on structural analysis software and learn from licensed professionals.
What you'll do#
- Perform structural analyses and generate reports.
- Confirm the accuracy of modification drawings.
- Perform civil site analyses and create designs for roads, grading, and stormwater.
- Help generate construction drawings that show antenna equipment placement.
- Answer structure-related questions from internal and external sources.
- Work within existing processes to open analysis projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-5 year college Engineering degree program, preferably with a focus on civil or structural engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with different functional groups and levels of employees.
