About the role#
The Advocate Health Administrative Fellowship is a one-year, post-graduate, project-based program. It provides early career professionals with broad exposure to healthcare operations and strategic planning. Fellows work under the guidance of a preceptor and receive support from senior leaders and former fellows. The program runs from June 7, 2027, through June 6, 2028.
What you'll do#
- Manage a diverse portfolio of healthcare projects and contribute to their progress.
- Work with physicians, administrative colleagues, and allied health staff to support team-based care.
- Direct or lead the work of others in assigned work groups, task forces, or projects.
- Participate in strategic planning processes.
- Meet with leadership regularly to discuss the fellowship and report on project progress.
- Apply improvement methodologies, including data collection and analysis.
What you'll need#
- A Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business (with a healthcare management focus), or Public Health.
- Graduation within two calendar years from a program accredited by CAHME or AASCB.
- Status as a US Citizen or permanent resident.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under the pressure of deadlines.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and is on-site.
- This is a paid fellowship with a compensation rate of $34.00 per hour.
