About the role#
As an Advisory Intern in the Risk and Claims Recovery practice, you will work alongside experienced team members to support client engagements. You will assist with problem solving and fact finding while gaining exposure to damages, lost profits, fraud analysis, and industry research. This role provides an opportunity to apply your academic background to real client matters.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the quantification of client matters, including damages and lost profits claims, product recall issues, and data breaches.
- Conduct engagement fact finding by reviewing financial records and speaking with client contacts.
- Analyze financial data to build and support client claims.
- Prepare financial schedules and work products that show key findings.
- Research new business opportunities as directed by practice leadership.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Risk Management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and follow instructions.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Chicago, Illinois.
