About the role#
This internship provides exposure to financial and IT audits, reviews, and consulting projects. You will work alongside professionals to gain insight into public accounting. The program includes interactive training, skill-building activities, and engagement opportunities. The role is full-time and paid.
What you'll do#
- Gain experience with financial and IT audits, reviews, and compilations.
- Learn the client system and control environment to understand its impact on users.
- Evaluate process risks, develop tests for key controls, and determine their effectiveness.
- Complete fieldwork for engagements including SOC audits, IT General Controls, ISO Assessments, SOX, and Internal Audits.
- Interact with clients to identify and resolve audit issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Preference for candidates planning to complete the 150 semester or 225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure.
