About the role#
Acuity, Inc. offers a 10-12 week summer internship program designed to provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to various business functions. This paid, full-time position allows interns to contribute to real projects and build professional relationships within the organization.
What you'll do#
- Support HR team members with daily administrative and operational tasks.
- Maintain employee records and HR systems while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in executing annual HR programs, including performance management, talent reviews, compensation planning, and employee engagement activities.
- Organize and participate in training sessions, team events, and engagement activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and support the implementation of solutions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work full-time during the internship period.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience analyzing data and creating reports using Excel.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and strong time management skills.
- Previous internship experience or coursework in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Organizational Behavior, Talent Management, or Compensation.
- Experience leading teams or organizations.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
