About the role#
Acuity, Inc. offers a 10-12 week summer internship for students interested in Finance Transformation and software engineering. This paid, full-time program provides hands-on experience through real projects. Interns work directly with Finance, Data, and Technology teams to build professional skills and gain exposure to business leaders. This role is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
What you'll do#
- Gain experience in Finance Transformation, System Enhancement, Application Engineering, End-User Support, and Agentic AI.
- Apply AI and analytics to speed up software development and enhancement requests.
- Support the design, testing, and enhancement of software using AI agents, copilots, and intelligent automation.
- Translate business needs into functional product capabilities.
- Analyze applications and data to find opportunities for automation, simplification, and modernization.
- Own specific project deliverables and present your findings, recommendations, and outcomes to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in software engineering, financial systems, technology, or a related field.
- Relevant prior work or internship experience.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work full-time during the internship period.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Genuine interest in Finance Transformation, digital products, and emerging AI technologies.
