About the role#
As a Student Business Development Team Lead, you represent Starlink on behalf of the Acosta Group. This role focuses on sales, lead generation, and community outreach. You will manage an assigned territory, build awareness, and help families explore high-speed connectivity. In addition to field work, you will support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination.
What you'll do#
- Own an assigned territory using broadband coverage maps and territory tools.
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to introduce Starlink service and hardware.
- Participate in local events, community connections, and referrals.
- Identify strong student referrals for the program.
- Answer customer questions and provide referral codes.
- Log activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the field app.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week.
- A reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and a smartphone.
- Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- A coachable, ambitious, and self-motivated mindset.
- Comfort meeting new people and a willingness to learn.

- Employment: Part-time, paid position.
- Compensation: Includes base hourly pay, commission for qualified activations, and potential referral bonuses. Benefits include paid training, mileage reimbursement, and a monthly cell phone stipend.
