About the role#
As a Student Business Development Team Lead, you represent Starlink on behalf of the Acosta Group. This is a field-based role where you own an assigned territory near your campus. You will focus on sales, lead generation, and community outreach. As a Team Lead, you also support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination.
What you'll do#
- Own an assigned territory near campus using broadband coverage maps and territory tools.
- Perform door-to-door outreach to introduce Starlink service and hardware.
- Answer customer questions and help them explore high-speed connectivity options.
- Build momentum through local events, community connections, and referrals.
- Support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination.
- Identify strong student referrals for the program.
- Plan routes, track outreach, and log your activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the field app.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and a smartphone.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Authorized to work in the United States.

- Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Hourly base pay plus commission for qualified activations and recruitment referrals. Includes mileage reimbursement, cell phone stipend, and paid training.
