About the role#
As a Student Business Development Team Lead, you represent Starlink on behalf of the Acosta Group. This is a field-based role focused on sales, lead generation, and community outreach. You will manage an assigned territory, build local awareness, and help residents explore high-speed connectivity options. Beyond individual sales, you will assist with local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination.
What you'll do#
- Own your assigned territory by planning routes and tracking outreach efforts.
- Perform door-to-door outreach to explain Starlink services and hardware.
- Conduct community outreach at local businesses and events.
- Log your daily activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the field app.
- Attend regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review performance and refine your approach.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- A reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a smartphone.
- You must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- A coachable, ambitious mindset and the ability to work independently.

- Compensation: This is a paid position offering an hourly base rate plus commission for qualified activations. You will also receive mileage reimbursement and a monthly cell phone stipend.
