About the role#
As a Student Business Development Team Lead, you will represent Starlink on behalf of the Acosta Group. This field-based position focuses on sales, community outreach, and customer engagement. You will manage an assigned territory near campus while also supporting local recruiting, team coordination, and scheduling efforts.
What you'll do#
- Own an assigned territory near campus and conduct door-to-door outreach.
- Plan daily routes and track your progress using provided territory tools.
- Introduce Starlink service and hardware offerings to potential customers.
- Answer customer questions and guide them through the sign-up process.
- Support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination.
- Attend community events and build local business partnerships.
- Log your daily activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the field application.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review performance and refine your approach.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- A reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a smartphone.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- A self-motivated, dependable, and coachable personality.
- Comfort with meeting new people and starting conversations.
