About the role#
As a Student Business Development Team Lead for the Starlink Customer Acquisition Program, you will serve as a representative in your assigned territory. This role combines field sales with team coordination, requiring you to build awareness and engage with community members. You will work under the guidance of a Regional Sales Manager to drive outreach efforts while supporting local recruiting and scheduling tasks.
What you'll do#
- Own an assigned territory near your campus and plan your outreach routes.
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to identify leads and build awareness for Starlink.
- Support local recruiting, team coordination, and scheduling.
- Identify strong student referrals for the program.
- Attend community events and build local business partnerships.
- Log your daily activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the field app.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review performance and refine your approach.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- A reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and a smartphone.
- You must be 18 or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- A coachable, ambitious mindset with a willingness to meet new people and learn.
