About the role#
As a Student Business Development Team Lead, you will represent Starlink in your local area. This role focuses on sales, lead generation, and community outreach. You will also provide support for local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination. This is a field-based position involving door-to-door outreach and community engagement.
What you'll do#
- Own an assigned territory near campus to build awareness for Starlink.
- Conduct door-to-door outreach and attend community events to connect with residents.
- Explain service and hardware offerings to potential customers.
- Help customers get started using a personal referral code.
- Support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination efforts.
- Log your daily activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the company field app.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review progress and strategy.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and a smartphone.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Ambitious, coachable, self-motivated, and dependable.
- Comfortable meeting and talking with new people.
