About the role#
As a Student Business Development Team Lead, you will represent Starlink in your local community. You will own an assigned territory near campus, focusing on sales, lead generation, and community outreach. This role includes a leadership component where you help support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination. You will receive paid training and ongoing coaching from field sales leaders.
What you'll do#
- Own an assigned territory near your campus.
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to build awareness and help families explore connectivity.
- Introduce Starlink to potential customers.
- Use broadband coverage maps and territory tools to plan your work.
- Identify strong student referrals for the program.
- Serve as a point of contact for your territory or campus.
- Log your activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the field app.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager.
- Support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week.
- Reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- A smartphone.
- Must be 18 or older.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- A coachable, ambitious mindset with a comfort for meeting new people.
