About the role#
As a Student Business Development Team Lead representing Starlink, you will manage a local territory to drive customer awareness and sales. This is a field-based position where you will introduce Starlink service and hardware to residents. Beyond individual sales, you will support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination to help the program grow.
What you'll do#
- Perform door-to-door sales and outreach to help families explore high-speed connectivity.
- Plan your daily routes and track outreach progress.
- Introduce Starlink service and hardware to potential customers.
- Participate in farmers’ markets, community events, and local partnerships.
- Identify strong student referrals to support team growth.
- Log activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the company field app.
- Attend regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review performance and discuss strategy.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable personal vehicle for travel within your assigned territory.
- Valid driver's license.
- Smartphone.
- Ambitious, coachable personality with an interest in meeting new people and learning new skills.

- Compensation: This is a paid position offering an hourly base rate plus commission for qualified activations. Additional compensation includes mileage reimbursement and a monthly cell phone stipend.
