About the role#
As a Student Business Development Team Lead, you will represent SpaceX on behalf of Mosaic to drive the Starlink Customer Acquisition Program. You will own an assigned territory near campus, focusing on sales, lead generation, and community outreach. This role includes a team lead component where you support local recruiting, scheduling, and team coordination.
What you'll do#
- Manage an assigned territory by using broadband coverage maps and territory tools to identify potential households.
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to introduce Starlink service and hardware.
- Plan your routes and track your outreach progress.
- Answer customer questions and turn conversations into sales.
- Participate in local events, community connections, and civic groups.
- Log your activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the field app.
- Attend regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in school.
- Availability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- A reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- A smartphone.
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Location & details#
- Location: Little Rock, Arkansas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Training begins the week of October 5, 2026, with field selling from October 12 through the end of the year.
- This is a part-time, paid position.
- Compensation includes hourly base pay plus commission for qualified activations, mileage reimbursement, and a monthly cell phone stipend.
