About the role#
As a Student Business Development Representative, you will represent Starlink in your local community. This is a field-based, part-time role designed to help students build professional sales and territory management experience while working around their class schedules. You will be a W-2 employee of Mosaic, part of Acosta Group.
What you'll do#
- Own an assigned territory near campus and plan your daily outreach routes.
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to build awareness for Starlink internet services.
- Explain service and hardware offerings to potential customers and help them get started using your personal referral code.
- Attend local events and build community partnerships to expand your reach.
- Log your daily activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the field app.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review progress and refine your approach.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- A reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a smartphone.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and coachable attitude.

- Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Hourly base pay plus commission for qualified activations.
- Support: Paid training, mileage reimbursement, and a monthly cell phone stipend are provided.
