About the role#
As a Student Business Development Representative, you will represent Starlink in rural and underserved communities. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you will build sales experience by connecting residents with high-speed internet options. You will work as a W-2 employee of Mosaic, which is part of the Acosta Group.
What you'll do#
- Manage an assigned territory by using broadband coverage maps and tools to identify potential households.
- Plan your daily routes and track your outreach efforts.
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to explain service and hardware offerings.
- Help interested customers get started using a personal referral code.
- Attend community events, farmers markets, and engage with local business partnerships.
- Log your daily activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the company field app.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review performance and discuss your approach.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- A reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a smartphone.
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
- An ambitious and coachable mindset with a comfort level for meeting new people.

- Location: Little Rock, Arkansas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation includes an hourly base rate, commission for qualified activations, mileage reimbursement, and a monthly cell phone stipend.
- Paid training is provided.
