About the role#
As a Student Business Development Representative for Acosta Group, you will represent Starlink in your local community. This role involves direct outreach to help families explore high-speed internet connectivity. You will work independently to manage an assigned territory near campus while receiving support and coaching from regional leadership.
What you'll do#
- Own an assigned territory and plan your daily outreach routes.
- Conduct door-to-door visits to build awareness and answer questions about service and hardware.
- Help customers use personal referral codes to place orders.
- Attend local events and engage with community groups.
- Log your daily activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the field application.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review progress and refine your approach.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- A reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a smartphone.
- You must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- A self-motivated and coachable attitude.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Part-time, W-2 role.
- Compensation: Hourly base pay plus commission for qualified activations. Includes mileage reimbursement and a monthly cell phone stipend.
