About the role#
As a Student Business Development Representative, you will represent Starlink and help bring high-speed internet to rural and underserved communities near your campus. This is a hands-on field role where you will build sales experience by engaging directly with residents. You will receive paid training and ongoing support from Mosaic leaders to help you succeed in your territory.
What you'll do#
- Own an assigned territory by using broadband coverage maps and territory tools to plan your routes.
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to introduce Starlink service and hardware to potential customers.
- Help interested residents get started using your personal referral code.
- Identify outreach opportunities at farmers markets, community events, and through local partnerships.
- Turn conversations into referrals by connecting with neighbors and friends.
- Log your daily activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the field app.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review your progress.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- A reliable personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a smartphone.
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- A coachable, ambitious mindset and comfort meeting new people.

- Location: Tallahassee, Florida.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Part-time, W-2 employee of Mosaic.
- Compensation: Hourly base pay plus commission for each qualified activation, mileage reimbursement, and a monthly cell phone stipend.
