About the role#
As a Student Business Development Representative, you will act as a field representative for Starlink. This role focuses on bringing high-speed internet to rural and underserved communities near your campus. You will receive paid training and ongoing coaching from Mosaic leadership to help you succeed in the field.
What you'll do#
- Manage an assigned territory near campus using provided maps and tools.
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to introduce Starlink service and hardware.
- Attend local events and build connections within the community.
- Answer customer questions and assist interested individuals with referral codes.
- Log your daily activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the company field app.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review performance and discuss strategy.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a student.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- Reliable personal vehicle for travel to rural territories.
- Valid driver's license.
- Personal smartphone.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- A coachable mindset and the ability to speak comfortably with new people.
Location & details#
- Location: Little Rock, Arkansas.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Training: Begins the week of October 5, 2026.
- Field work: October 12, 2026, through the end of the year.
- Compensation: Hourly base pay plus a $200 commission per qualified activation.
- Benefits: Mileage reimbursement, monthly cell phone stipend, and company-provided apparel.
- Status: Part-time, W-2 employee of Mosaic.
