About the role#
As a Student Business Development Representative, you will represent Starlink in your local community. This is a field-based role where you will manage an assigned territory near campus to help residents access high-speed internet. You will receive paid training, ongoing coaching, and support from regional sales leadership.
What you'll do#
- Manage an assigned territory by using broadband coverage maps and territory tools to identify potential households.
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to start conversations about Starlink service and hardware.
- Assist interested customers in getting started using your personal referral code.
- Identify opportunities for outreach at farmers markets, community events, and local business partnerships.
- Plan your daily routes and track your outreach progress.
- Log your activity, sales, hours, and mileage daily in the field app.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review performance and discuss strategy.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- Reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- A smartphone.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Self-motivated, dependable, ambitious, and coachable personality.

- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Part-time.
- Compensation: Hourly rate plus commission for qualified activations. Includes mileage reimbursement and a monthly cell phone stipend.
