About the role#
As a Student Business Development Representative, you will represent Starlink in your local community. This is a field-based role where you will build awareness and help residents connect to high-speed internet. You will manage an assigned territory near your campus, working 15 to 25 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Own an assigned territory and use broadband coverage maps to identify potential households.
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to introduce Starlink service and hardware offerings.
- Build momentum through local events, community connections, and referrals.
- Help interested customers get started using a personal referral code.
- Plan your daily routes and track your outreach progress.
- Log your activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the field app.
- Attend regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review performance.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in school.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- A valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle for travel to rural territories.
- A smartphone to manage your field app and communications.
- An ambitious and coachable mindset with a comfort level for meeting new people.
