About the role#
As a Student Business Development Representative, you will represent Starlink in your local community. This is a hands-on field role where you will build awareness and help families explore high-speed connectivity options. You will own an assigned territory near your campus and receive paid training, ongoing coaching, and support from regional leadership.
What you'll do#
- Own an assigned territory by using broadband coverage maps and tools to identify households.
- Conduct door-to-door outreach to introduce Starlink service and hardware offerings.
- Attend local events and build community connections to grow your network.
- Help interested customers start their orders using your personal referral code.
- Log your daily activity, sales, hours, and mileage in the field app.
- Participate in regular check-ins with your Regional Sales Manager to review progress and refine your approach.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in school.
- Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
- A reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and a smartphone.
- You must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
- A self-motivated and dependable mindset.

- Location: Montgomery, Alabama.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This position is paid and includes an hourly rate plus commission for qualified activations. You will also receive mileage reimbursement and a monthly cell phone stipend.
