About the role#
This is a part-time student worker position within the Software team, focused on supporting the Autonomy Software program. You will work directly with engineers and researchers on real projects, contributing to the development of autonomous vehicle technology. This role is a contract position through a third-party vendor and is designed to complement your academic studies with hands-on professional experience.
What you'll do#
- Manage Autonomy Software program planning and execution.
- Track and resolve cross-functional engineering dependencies.
- Drive the adoption of standard engineering processes.
- Enable the engineering team by managing program milestones and processes.
- Participate actively in core technical discussions and partner with engineering to deliver complex programs.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. program in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern AI developer tools such as Claude and Cursor.
- Experience using Jira, Smartsheet, and Confluence for tracking and project collaboration.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, with 40 hours per week preferred.
- Ability to commit to a minimum six-month assignment.
- Adherence to company confidentiality requirements regarding proprietary information.
