About the role#
This part-time student worker position supports the Autonomy Software team. You will work directly with engineers and researchers to contribute to real projects while balancing your academic studies. This role is a contract position and is not a traditional cohort-based internship.
What you'll do#
- Manage program planning and execution for Autonomy Software.
- Track and resolve cross-functional engineering dependencies.
- Drive the adoption of standard engineering processes.
- Enable the engineering team by managing program milestones and processes.
- Participate actively in core technical discussions and partner with engineering to deliver complex programs.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. program in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, AI, Robotics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern AI developer tools such as Claude and Cursor.
- Experience using Jira, Smartsheet, and Confluence for tracking and collaboration.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, with 40 hours preferred.
- Ability to commit to a minimum six-month assignment.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Understanding of the autonomy stack is a plus.
- Agreement to adhere to company confidentiality requirements regarding proprietary information.
