About the role#
The ASTE team is seeking a Part-time Student Worker to assist with autonomy behavioral validation. This role is a contract position designed to complement your academic studies by providing hands-on experience with real-world projects. You will work directly with a team to analyze data and contribute to the development of autonomous vehicle technology.
What you'll do#
- Manage and triage lists of events related to vehicle behavior in real-world or simulation environments.
- Utilize visualization and analysis tools to investigate specific events based on provided instructions.
- Differentiate between true issues and false positives through detailed analysis.
- Provide feedback and analysis on each event as requested by the work requestor.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. program in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in data analysis, analytics, statistics, or applied math.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Ability to commit to a minimum three-month assignment.
- Adherence to company confidentiality requirements regarding proprietary information.
Location & details#
- This role is located on-site in Foster City, California.
- This is a part-time, paid contract position with compensation of $30 per hour.
- Employment for this role is managed through a third-party vendor.
