About the role#
We are looking for a Data Analyst to support the data systems and reporting that power our autonomous fleet operations. You will transform vehicle telemetry, service logs, and operational data into insights that improve decision-making across our engineering, safety, and operations teams. This role focuses on analytics, reporting, KPI development, and building dashboards to help teams understand performance.
What you'll do#
- Analyze vehicle telemetry, service logs, dispatch data, and operational metrics to identify trends.
- Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for fleet operations, safety, and engineering stakeholders.
- Define, track, and report on KPIs related to fleet performance, mission success, readiness, and operational efficiency.
- Construct live operational dashboards to visualize fleet health, downtime, and operator efficiency.
- Optimize database queries across NoSQL and SQL structures to ensure rapid data retrieval.
- Aggregate large sets of vehicle performance data to provide actionable recommendations for improving fleet utilization.
- Interface directly with L3 hardware and software engineering teams to ensure tools reflect current system capabilities.
- Gather feedback from on-the-ground fleet operators to improve the UX and UI of internal tools.
- Ensure all datasets used for analysis are accurate, well-structured, and reliable.
- Adhere to all company confidentiality requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Experience working with large datasets and transforming raw data into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and reporting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Databricks or similar analytics platforms is a plus.
- Previous experience with operational, logistics, or fleet-related data is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Seattle, WA.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with a requirement to work on-site.
- Commitment: Minimum 20 hours per week.
- Duration: Minimum three-month assignment.
- Compensation: $30 per hour.
- Status: This is a contract position paid through a third-party vendor.
