About the role#
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will join a global team focused on maintaining efficient operations across ZF plants. You will gain hands-on experience by analyzing supply and demand trends, supporting planning activities, and contributing to process improvement projects. This role involves working closely with logistics and operations partners to address real business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Support allocation reporting and supply planning activities for ZF plants globally.
- Analyze supply chain and planning reports to inform business and operational decision making.
- Assist with mapping, documenting, and improving supply chain planning processes.
- Create process documentation, standard work instructions, and training materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including inbound logistics, outbound logistics, freight, and operations.
- Utilize Excel to analyze supplier delivery performance and customer requirements.
- Support digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain organization.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Junior or Senior standing with an expected graduation date within the next 12 to 24 months.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and multicultural environment.
