About the role#
The Direct Materials Procurement Intern will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based in Milwaukee. You will work in a hybrid environment, balancing time in the office with remote work. Please note that we cannot provide visa sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
- Support the Procurement and Direct Materials Team in creating commodity strategies.
- Track and manage Key Performance Indicators.
- Prepare and organize documentation to meet IATF audit requirements.
- Analyze monthly performance reports, investigate variances, and present your findings.
- Manage the business review process, track vendor spend, and establish master schedules.
- Coordinate strategy development sessions and launch RFQs or E-Auctions as needed.
- Assist with supplier transition tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
- Pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Ability to work from the greater Milwaukee area during the summer.
