About the role#
ZF Group is hiring a Finance Intern for their plant in Marysville, Michigan. This is a paid, full-time, rolling internship opportunity for current students or recent graduates. You will work in a hybrid capacity, spending three days in the office and two days working from home.
What you'll do#
- Perform financial analysis of data to support the finance department and plant operations.
- Conduct inventory cycle count audits and identify process improvements.
- Assist with month end closing tasks, including preparing journal entries, calculating accruals, and managing headcount or attendance reporting.
- Code invoice workflows from Accounts Payable.
- Process Accounts Receivable debits and prepare vendor reconciliations.
- Maintain accounting information for the spare parts department.
- Reconcile scrap material tickets and prepare scrap sales orders.
- Retrieve details from customer portals to prepare pass through entries.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Information Systems.
- Availability to work at least 30 hours per week.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- Experience with SAP is preferred but not required.
