About the role#
The engineering team in Marysville focuses on product reliability and plant improvements. As an intern, you will work within the engineering lab to support quality evaluations, assembly projects, and warranty teardowns. You will gain hands-on experience in lab operations while contributing to projects that improve driveline products and manufacturing processes.
What you'll do#
- Manage the Axle Lab Area to ensure it remains organized and stocked with necessary tools.
- Perform and document detailed analysis of product failures and warranty issues.
- Assist with the warranty review process by conducting root cause analysis.
- Coordinate product and process engineering tasks at the plant level.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for road test, teardown, and non-production parts.
- Move products and containers as needed for drive unit extraction.
- Work with logistics to maintain inventory transparency and manage SAP changes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors degree program for Mechanical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Proficiency in the MS-Office Suite.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, specifically with Macros and formulas.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and accept direction from multiple sources.
- Good communication skills for working in a team environment.

- This is an on-site position based in Marysville, Michigan.
- The role is full-time and paid.
