About the role#
The Wild West Region Intern Experience offers an opportunity to engage in ministry and leadership development within the Young Life community. This role focuses on spiritual growth, direct ministry to adolescents, and the practical aspects of organizational support. Interns work under the guidance of an area director to develop ministry skills and personal character.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster your spiritual life.
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Participate in leadership with a team to conduct Young Life club and discipleship ministry.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
- Assist in office administration when necessary and assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, with relevant majors including Psychology, Communications, Philosophy, or Nursing.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Agreement with the Young Life Statement of Faith and commitment to the organization's ministry functions.
Location & details#
- Location: Middleton, Idaho.
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: This is a part-time position requiring 10 hours per week for the 2026-27 school year.
- Compensation: The position is paid at a rate of $750 per month.
