About the role#
The Early Childhood Education Support Intern will assist the Early Childhood Development Manager in supporting educational services across seven Head Start and Early Head Start schools. This role offers experience in curriculum preparation, classroom support, and program operations. You will learn how a large early childhood education program functions while working with teachers and staff.
What you'll do#
- Prepare Creative Curriculum materials and lesson resources.
- Copy, print, laminate, and organize classroom materials.
- Deliver instructional resources to assigned school sites.
- Visit school locations to support teachers and education staff.
- Create educational displays, newsletters, flyers, and family communication materials.
- Assist with classroom organization and the setup of learning environments.
- Help prepare materials for teacher meetings and professional development sessions.
- Support family engagement events, classroom activities, and agency events.
- Complete administrative tasks that support school readiness.
What you'll need#
- Interest in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized and detail oriented approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google applications.
- Comfort working with young children and educational professionals.

- Location: Nashville, Tennessee.
- Term: Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity.
- Local travel between school sites is required.
- Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and move throughout classrooms.
