About the role#
The Family and Community Partnerships Intern II supports daily operations for Metro Nashville Public Schools. You will help manage student supervision, facilitate enrichment activities, and provide logistical support. This role involves working under site leadership to track attendance, distribute materials, and assist teachers during lessons. It offers hands-on experience in education and youth development.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning and executing the Promising Scholars program and related initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between schools, families, and community partners.
- Design and implement student retention strategies.
- Manage and update supply inventory and coordinate distribution.
- Draft program materials, presentations, and reports for stakeholders.
- Analyze data and track outcomes to ensure alignment with grant and legislative requirements.
- Create graphics and visuals to engage families through social media.
- Schedule social media posts to highlight program updates and milestones.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a graduate level degree program in a relevant field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical skills, including the ability to review and visualize data.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience with children, education, or administrative duties is preferred.
