About the role#
Young Life is seeking a Student Staff member for the Wyldlife program in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling start date. As a religious institution, Young Life requires all employees to sign a Statement of Faith and profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. You will work under the supervision of an area director to develop ministry skills and personal spiritual maturity.
What you'll do#
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
- Actively engage in all three levels of contact work.
- Participate in team leadership to conduct club and discipleship ministry.
- Assist with office administration and complete expense reports.
- Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership.
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, preferably in Psychology, Communications, Philosophy, or Human Resources.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A willingness to fulfill ministry functions and adhere to organizational policies.
