About the role#
Young Life is hiring a Student Staff member for the West Nashville area. This is a full-time, paid position that requires the employee to sign a Statement of Faith and participate in the ministry of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The role involves spiritual development, leadership training, and direct ministry engagement.
What you'll do#
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Conduct Young Life club and Campaigners/discipleship ministry.
- Raise financial support and maintain donor care practices.
- Participate in leadership to conduct summer and school-season camping strategy.
- Assist in office administration when necessary.
- Meet with volunteer leaders and area leadership regularly.
- Model excellence in contact work and training.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, with a preference for majors such as Psychology, Political Science, Communications, Human Resources, or Nursing.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A personal commitment to the Young Life Statement of Faith.
