About the role#
Young Life is hiring Student Staff in Carnegie, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, paid position that focuses on evangelism and discipleship. As a religious organization, Young Life requires all employees to sign a Statement of Faith and profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. You will work on-site as part of a team to conduct ministry activities and support local operations.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster your spiritual life.
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership.
- Raise financial support and maintain good donor care practices.
- Participate in a team to conduct Young Life club and discipleship ministry.
- Assist with administrative tasks, expense reporting, and office duties.
- Engage in contact work and implement camping strategies for the ministry.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a college degree, with relevant fields including Psychology, Philosophy, Communications, Public Health, or Nursing.
- Proven relational skills working with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all professional matters.
- Willingness to participate in regional and area training events.

- Compensation: The anticipated salary range is $6,120 to $8,520, depending on education, experience, and location.
