About the role#
Student Staff members serve within the Young Life mission to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and support adolescent faith development. This role involves active participation in leadership, ministry operations, and personal spiritual growth. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster a vibrant spiritual life.
- Participate in team leadership to conduct Young Life club and discipleship ministry.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain consistent donor care practices.
- Assist with office administration and general business tasks as necessary.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and professional standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, with preference for majors including Psychology, Communications, Philosophy, Nursing, or Public Health.
- Proven relational skills when working with both adolescents and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Commitment to the Young Life Statement of Faith and ministry standards.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Columbia, South Carolina, and operates with a remote work modality.
- Compensation for this role ranges from $6,115.20 to $7,488, depending on relevant education, experience, and location.
