About the role#
Young Life is hiring a part-time Student Staff member to serve within Wichita Public Schools. This role focuses on evangelism, discipleship, and ministry support. You will work under the supervision of an area director to develop your ministry skills and personal spiritual maturity. Please note that Young Life requires all employees to sign a Statement of Faith and maintain conduct consistent with its religious mission.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan to foster a vibrant spiritual life.
- Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
- Raise financial support as directed and maintain good donor care practices.
- Participate on a team to implement a summer and school-season camping strategy.
- Assist in office administration when necessary.
- Engage in contact work, club, and discipleship ministry.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a college degree, with preference for majors such as Psychology, Political Science, Communications, or Human Resources.
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

- This position is based in Wichita, Kansas.
- The role is on-site and part-time.
- Compensation ranges from $300 to $500 per month depending on education and experience.
