About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Denver, Colorado. You will support Mass Market energy efficiency programs by evaluating residential energy projects and helping the team improve internal processes. This role involves working with engineers to analyze energy datasets and translate technical data into actionable insights. The position is hybrid and requires in-person attendance at the Denver office.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support for residential energy efficiency programs.
- Review and evaluate customer energy projects.
- Collaborate with engineers on process improvement initiatives.
- Write code to analyze energy datasets and support building energy modeling.
- Automate engineering workflows to increase team efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current student status, Junior or higher as of Fall 2027.
- Enrollment in an ABET accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year.
- Ability to commute to the Denver office for hybrid work.
- Coursework or knowledge in Data Analytics and Thermodynamics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with Python is preferred.
