About the role#
As an Energy Systems Delivery Stream Intern, you will work alongside engineers, project managers, and supply chain professionals. You will contribute to the delivery of large clean energy infrastructure projects within the APx Large Structures organization. This role provides hands-on experience with supplier engagement, project execution, technical evaluations, and engineering procurement. You will report to the Containment Vessel and Shield Building Procurement Senior Manager.
What you'll do#
- Support supplier identification, qualification, and technical evaluations.
- Assist with the development of Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages.
- Prepare and revise technical and procurement documentation.
- Track supplier action items and key deliverables.
- Support supplier submittal reviews and management activities.
- Assist with weekly project and leadership updates.
- Collaborate across engineering, procurement, and project management teams.
- Analyze data to develop recommendations for team goals.
- Gain exposure to domestic and international supplier relationships.
- Lead a focused summer project to address a specific business need and present your results to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Completion of your Sophomore year of college.
- Experience with or interest in using Power BI.

- Location: Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Compensation: The hourly rate is estimated between $23.00 and $26.30, depending on experience and skills.
