About the role#
The Mass Market Energy Efficiency team is seeking a Customer Insight Intern to support research and analysis for our energy efficiency programs. You will help customers manage their energy usage and improve the efficiency of their homes. This is a paid internship starting May 24, 2027, with the possibility of an extension based on performance and business needs.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate program surveys and customer inquiry inboxes to identify feedback and insights.
- Conduct industry benchmarking and evaluate external research.
- Attend webinars and report findings to the team.
- Collaborate with project managers and customer care agents to update support materials.
- Handle administrative tasks, including accruals, Salesforce uploads, and prescriptive rebate support.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or higher at an accredited college or university.
- A degree path in Business, Economics, Psychology, Environmental Studies, Business Analytics, Sociology, or a related field.
- Availability to work full-time (up to 40 hours per week) during the summer and part-time (up to 20 hours per week) during the school year.
- Ability to commute to the office for in-person work.
- At least one prior internship or job experience is preferred.

- Compensation: $18.20 to $24.50 per hour.
