About the role#
As a Health and Benefits Analyst, you will work alongside consultants on client projects. This role is open to individuals who have completed a WTW Summer 2026 internship. You will gain exposure to real client assignments while building your technical knowledge and industry expertise. For those on the Actuarial track, the company provides a comprehensive exam study program with paid study hours and exam coaching.
What you'll do#
- Partner with consultants to provide project support.
- Perform financial analyses, such as developing pricing and creating employee contribution strategies.
- Model plan design alternatives and calculate reserves.
- Analyze and compare vendor products, services, and contracts.
- Design, distribute, and evaluate responses to surveys and RFPs.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor or Master degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, public health, health management, actuarial science, or a major with significant quantitative coursework.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams is highly preferred for Actuarial students.
- Previous work experience demonstrating strong technical or client service skills, with a preference for analyst-type internships.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work as a self-starter independently and within a team environment.
- Completion of a WTW Summer 2026 internship.
