About the role#
As an actuarial intern within the Property & Casualty division, you will join a team working on complex projects. You will gain exposure to insurance operations, including product development, financial modeling, and risk management. You will work alongside consultants to build technical skills while gaining experience with a variety of clients.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the pricing, valuation, and development of insurance products.
- Develop financial projections for client insurance businesses.
- Document, review, and present your own work.
- Assist in creating detailed project plans and monitor progress against deadlines and budgets.
- Build strong relationships internally and with client representatives.
- Participate in learning opportunities and maintain progress toward actuarial credentials.
- Follow the firm’s excellence guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related quantitative field.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams is highly preferred.
- Strong technical, client service, or leadership experience through work or extracurriculars.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel.
- Candidates must graduate between December 2027 and June 2029.

- Compensation: $31.00/hr CAD (eligible for overtime).
- Status: Full-time internship.
