About the role#
The Power and Energy team is hiring a full-time Underground Transmission Lines Engineering Intern for our Foxborough, Massachusetts office. This is a 12-week summer program starting May 17, 2027. You will work alongside senior staff to gain hands-on experience and mentorship through our internal professional network.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering tasks to build technical and ethical skills.
- Learn foundational principles of Civil Engineering.
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
- Help prepare final design plans, cost estimates, and special provisions.
- Collect and maintain project documentation.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an undergraduate program for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering with a graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Interest in Civil Engineering and a desire to develop skills relevant to our projects.
- Basic proficiency in technical writing, office software, and spreadsheets.
- Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.

- Pay: $24.76 - $32.22 per hour.
