About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship within the Power and Energy team. You will work on-site in Lake Oswego, Oregon, for a 12-week program starting May 17, 2027. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside senior staff on real energy projects.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering tasks to build your technical skills.
- Help with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
- Assist in preparing final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
- Collect and maintain project documentation.
- Complete assigned training and follow company safety and conduct policies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program for Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, and spreadsheets.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
- Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and non-engineering audiences.
