About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Electrical Engineering internship for Summer 2027. You will work with the Power and Energy team in Hallowell, Maine. The program runs for 12 weeks starting May 17, 2027. You will work on-site and gain exposure to real projects while working alongside senior staff.
What you'll do#
- Support various engineering tasks to build your technical and professional skills.
- Learn basic principles of Electrical Engineering.
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
- Support the preparation of final design plans and cost estimates.
- Help collect and maintain project documentation.
- Complete training on assigned tasks.
- Adhere to company policies regarding ethics, conduct, and safety.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited Undergraduate program for Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, spreadsheets, and general technology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to take direction from mentors and managers.

- Compensation: $22.17 to $28.85 per hour.
