About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship within our Power and Energy team. You will work alongside senior staff to gain hands-on experience in overhead transmission lines. This role is part of our 12-week summer program.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
- Support the preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
- Help collect and maintain project documentation.
- Complete training on assigned tasks to build your technical skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate program for Civil Engineering or a related field.
- An anticipated graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site in Houston, Texas, or Austin, Texas.
- The internship is scheduled for Summer 2027.
