About the role#
Mead & Hunt is hiring a full-time Construction Summer Intern for our Municipal group. This is a paid, limited-term position based in De Pere, Wisconsin. You will work alongside project managers and colleagues on a variety of municipal construction projects.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to projects and staff within the municipal engineering group.
- Learn federal, state, and local design standards.
- Use technical software to analyze data, prepare deliverables, and perform quality checks.
- Conduct field observations and collect project data.
- Assist with the preparation of technical reports and memos.
- Participate in technical and client meetings.
- Take part in team-building activities and attend out-of-office events.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two semesters of college coursework in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A valid driver license for site visits and meetings.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.

- Compensation: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour.
